When this all started, it wasn't a fucking problem. Lyle was in Banting. He didn't care if Jase was sneaking around to talk to him. He didn't care that nobody was allowed to know when he went and saw him at school. After all, Lyle had been busy with classes and never really had the free time to wait around on him. So on days like this, it didn't matter because he was not only out of town, but he had things to do anyways. As far as Jase knew, he was fine with it. The only thing he had really said was calling himself Jase's dirty little secret. And why should he care? Lyle hated commitments. He had always run the other direction when it came to them. With his dad not knowing about him, that meant that Lyle didn't have to meet the parents. It was a win-win situation....until now.
The circumstances were different now. Lyle had been kicked out of school and blacklisted. He now had a lot of free time on his hands. Which meant that he wanted to hang out more often. At first, he had called his party buddies up. Grace had reformed, apparently, and become a cop. Ava wasn't answering his texts. And he still hadn't gotten Izzy's number yet. So, he had called up Jase. But even the older man was busy with his family. And Lyle didn't care if it was family whatever night. That was fine. It was the insinuation behind it--don't call. don't text.. That was the message Lyle got, whether or not Jase had outwardly said it. And suddenly, being a secret pissed him off. Lyle had nearly thrown the phone at the wall when the two hung up.
Part of him had wanted to show up and ruin their family night ,and Lyle was that much of a jackass to do it. Except, he didn't want to be dumped. Damn it, he cared about Jase, even when he didn't want to. Like right now. Of course, Jase would have to be psychic to know that anything was wrong. He had always told him that he didn't care. And he had always told himself that. As he was finding out, though, he had been lying to both of them. He wasn't used to giving a damn about someone like this. And if he had to tell the truth about why he was so fucking upset, it was because he cared about the older man. Yes, Lyle Forrester was in love. And it pissed him off, because he was a goddamned secret.
Lyle had gone and gotten himself a drink, taking the liberty of borrowing his dad's car. That was four hours ago. He had been drinking pretty steadily since then, never going without having a drink in his hand. He had made some discoveries tonight, but none that he wanted to think about. Right now, his drunken mind was on the man who was keeping him hidden out of sight from his family .With a beer in hand, he drove to the Winchesters, running a few red lights and barely avoiding getting into an accident. Of course, he never realized this. Nope, the man had reached the point of wasted long ago. He had a one track mind. And being angry at Jase was the track he was on. He parked in the driveway...or rather, across the driveway and into the grass, knocking down a lawn gnome while he was at it.
Staggering, he opened the car door and slammed it shut, finishing off his beer and throwing the can at the street, but it landed in the next door's neighbor yard. He then staggered to the front door. He rang the doorbell and pounded on it, despite it being after midnight. The door was opened by the butler, and Lyle nodded before staggering further in, slamming into an end table, knocking a lamp over. He chuckled at the sight, finding it rather amusing in his drunken state. Side stepping away from it, he straightened up and looked around before speaking.
"Jase Winchester!" He yelled, his voice cracking just a little. "Get your ass out here!" Damn, the room echoed! He wasn't used to that. It was like talking into a fucking microphone. "I-I wanna talk to you, damn it!" He continued to raise his voice again. Spotting a decorative gong near the fireplace, he smirked and grabbed the mallot, banging it on the cymbal over and over "Jase!!!!" he yelled over it "Come out come out wherever you art thou Romeooo!" He wasn't thinking about the possibility that he could wake everyone up. Nope. All he knew was he wanted his boyfriend to come out, and come out now.
"Sir! The Winchesters are in bed!" the butler was aghast. Lyle whirled around to face him, only to make a full circle before facing him. He glared and grabbed the older man's collar.
"I don't fucking care! Wake him up! Wake them all up!" He was ready to bring this relationship out in the open. Pushing the butler, he decided to look for the rat himself. He staggered into the adjoining room, hoping to find his boyfriend. Instead, he found a party room. It was an empty room, except for a cabinet that contained liquor. With the mallet from the gong still in his hand, he broke the glass and grabbed a bottle of expensive liquor, putting the bottle to his lips and chugging from it. After taking a long swig, he staggered out of the opposite door, winding up in a hallway. Shit, how big was this place? "Jase!" he yelled, pounding on each of the closed doors in the hallway. He would find him. Somehow.

Jase had never been attracted to good boys. Since he'd been a teenager, all he wanted was to be a little closer to the edge. He talked rough sometimes, dressed the part and carried himself more nonchalantly than he was. He was bad, if a rich college boy could be bad. The guys he liked tended to be worse than he was. Lyle was one of those guys that should have been off limits. He was the kind of guy that he didn't think his parents would have approved of. And he kind of liked it that way. There was a thrill in keeping a secret, even if it was inconvenient and he would have been lying if he didn't say he cared. He did care. But, they couldn't be open with his family. It wasn't because he was a dude, because no one gave a fuck about that. It was because of the kind of guy he was. Jase absolutely had a type that his family wasn't aware of. And he couldn't be calling him when he was having time with his family. He didn't need to talk about him to his family.
Once everyone went to bed, however, Jase lay on his back in his own. He wasn't planning to sleep anytime soon. Still fully dressed, he lay there looking up at an armadillo that he'd been whittling. He turned it around over and over in his hand. He'd been working on a grassland scene for little under a week and that was just another piece to it. It was for a friend, whose son tended to love those kinds of things. And for some reason, he'd gotten the idea that he could make groups of animals from specific climates and regions. He was decorating his room animal themed or some shit. It was cute. And he happened to like his hobby enough to make more of them. As he turned it over, he could hear his brothers in the next room. Julian had his guitar unplugged from his amp, but he could still hear his voice mixed with Mickey's. They were singing, but it was quiet enough that he could barely make out the song.
That was until he heard shouting.
Immediately, he sprang up, dropping the figure on the bed. His door wasn't the first to open though. And it was Mikhail, armed with a bottle of soda that headed down the hall. To be honest, he didn't expect it to do a lot of harm. But, there was something happening and he was going to deal with it before the whole house was woken up. As he marched to the sound of the voice and banging on the doors, Mikhail glared. "Who the fuck are you?" He demanded, only to be followed quickly by Jase.
Jase knew exactly who it was and judging by Julian's closed door, he must have decided that Mickey could deal with it while he stood out of it. "Mickey, back off." He said, eyes immediately on Lyle. What the hell was he thinking? Not only was he not supposed to be there, period, he couldn't be waltzing into his house in the middle of the night, drunk off his ass and banging on doors. To be honest, the whole thing was a little hot, if it weren't his ass that would be on the line if his parents found out. He didn't have time to think that he kind of liked him when he was angry. He needed to deal with the situation before Mickey... beat him with a bottle of pepsi, apparently.
"What the hell are you doing? You can't just come in here."

If it wasn't for Shelby, Maya would still be asleep. The fifteen year old had enjoyed having her parents gone for the night. She had been in her room, marathoning old Star Trek episodes until she fell asleep just twenty minutes before this. Her room was right beside Shelby's whelping room. So when the four year old golden retriever started barking at the noise downstairs, it woke her up. She rose, knocking her bowl of chips on the floor with a yawn. She didn't move to pick it up, though, because she knew that the butler would take care of it in the morning. He was a butler/maid, really. She went into the hallway, stifling a yawn. "Shelby--" she started to call, when she heard all the noise downstairs. Rather than comforting the barking dog, she decided to make her way downstairs, instead. The sight was definitely one to be seen.
"I'm fucking Santa Claus," Lyle slurred out a shout, raising the bottle he had taken from their liquor cabinet. "Merry fucking Christmas!" he poured the liquid into his mouth, actually, partially in his mouth, because he had no sense of aim at this point. When Jase finally showed his ass up, he stumbled over to him, digging his index and middle finger into his chest. "Don't you tell me where I can't be, you.....you idiot!" Really? That was the best he could do? Once he was sober, he would be able to come up with more insults than that. But for now, as plastered as he was, it was, indeed, the best he could come up with. "Now, I drove alllll the way down here. And you--you're gonna listen to me." he paused before he put the bottle to his mouth and started singing, just because what he had just said put the tune in his head. "And I am telling you, I am not going. And you, and you and youuuu you're gonna love meeee" Yup, he had definitely had too much to drink.
Maya looked at her older brothers before eyeing the stranger in their home, drinking their dad's booze. "What's going on?" she asked, announcing her presence. She knew who he was, though. She had seen him once, one of the times they were at the Del Rossi's. Which meant he was one of them. What was a Del Rossi doing in their house? Maya folded her arms and decided, as drunk as the older guy was, that it would be safe to stay behind Mickey, so that was what she did.
He turned when he heard the girl. With a smirk, he put the bottle to Jase's mouth, as if it was a microphone. "Yeah, Jase. Why don't you tell them what is going on?" he was pretty damned proud of himself. He had managed to get Jase to come out from hiding, and they even got an audience. He didn't know how Jase was gonna take this, but he knew one thing. He wasn't leaving. No way in hell. They would have to physically drag him back to his house. And even then, he'd just drive right back. Lyle had no problem driving drunk. He thought he had a talent for it. And that sideways truck in the driveway and yard, that was a thing of beauty.

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
Not Maya too. Jase raked his fingers through his dark curls, trying to figure out how to tackle the situation without causing anymore damage. Silently, he was thanking god that it wasn't worse than this. If his parents had been home, he would be dead. Dead. He wasn't even sure that was an exaggeration. He'd be dead and Lyle would be in jail. And if he wasn't killed by his parents, he would have been killed just by being completely mortified and afraid of their reaction. This wasn't how his parents needed to meet his boyfriend. Actually, he wasn't sure when he'd let them meet him, period. He wasn't necessarily wholesome, after all. And Jase didn't like wholesome guys. He hated good boys. They just tended to grate his nerves and never felt dangerous enough. And if his siblings weren't standing right there, he probably would have been more likely to yell at him, while simultaneously hoping for angry wall sex or something equally ridiculous. No, on subject, Jase.
"That's the worst damn Christmas gift I've ever seen." Mickey replied, eyes switching to his brother, because damn, what the hell? He noticed his sister too, but hadn't addressed her. Instead, he stayed in front of her. If things got out of the hand, he'd keep her from getting hurt. He didn't know this dude and he didn't sound necessarily safe. And he wasn't having his teenage sister caught in the middle of some drunk guy and his brother.
"It's not your guys' business. Go back to bed." Jase responded, but had no hope in them listening. He wished they would, at least this once. He didn't need this getting worse than it already was. And he listened to Lyle with a look of disbelief. "You're the idiot that drove." He retorted. "How the hell are you not in a ditch?" As he started singing, however, he couldn't help but roll his eyes and forced himself not to face palm. "Lyle, you're drunk."
"No shit, Sherlock." Mickey piped up, arms folded as he watched. It was almost amusing. Almost. "Yeah, Jase. Come on." He wasn't leaving until he had an explanation.
Jase snatched the bottle from his hands as he held it out to him. "Why don't you knock it off? You're drunk." He turned back to his siblings: "He's drunk." What was it? The third time that he said it? "Just go back to bed. I'm not explaining anything."

Maya watched him, keeping her eyes on Jase. There was something about them two...something fishy. And when she was told to go back to bed, she did in fact turn and leave the room. But it wasn't to go back to bed. Oh, no. Maya had a feeling that this was definite blackmail material. So, she went to where her video camera was hooked into the computer in the office, disconnected it, turned it on and went back to where the guys were standing. "Smile for the camera, Jase," she taunted her older brother. She didn't plan on helping him at all. What she did plan on was using this to her advantage. Maya smirked and zoomed in on Lyle and Jase, especially when he said he was drunk.
"Cause I'm fucking gifted. I'm invisible when I'm behind the wheel," he explained, intending to say invincible, but...drunk. When he took the bottle though, he scowled and reached for it. "Dude! That's mine!" Technically, it wasn't, but he had made it his. Wasn't that what was important? Once he had opened it and put it to his lips, it became his. So it wasn't fair of Jase to take it. When he accused him of being drunk, he scoffed. "Only a little." Because, steadily drinking for hours left him a little drunk. As he refused to explain, though, Lyle's temper rose even more than it already had. Making a fist, he tried to punch Jase in the face. He missed, though, despite him being right in front of him, and the force made him fall on his knees. He looked up at him and spat at him before yelling again. "That's cause you're a liar! And you don't fucking care! And I said I don't, but guess what? I changed my mind! I'm done being a lie, Jase. Tell them. Now. Tell them, or I will. And you won't like it, damn it!" Where were his parents? They were the ones who really needed to be told.

If there was ever a time that he considered strangling a sibling, now was that time. As soon as Maya returned with her camera, it took every bit of effort not to try to snatch it out of her hands. This would have been better if it was just him and Lyle. He wouldn't have had to worry about what Maya or Mickey saw. Not to mention, he could do his best to make sure that this never got back to their parents. He thought he could have cleaned everything up in no time. Unfortunately, those weren't the cards he was dealt tonight. Instead, he was given a bad hand and no way to make it better. He took a breath, trying his best not to lose too much composure. "I'm going to break that damn camera over your face." He retorted and although Jase was good at making threats like that and could sound tough, anyone that knew him knew the opposite. He never followed through and he wasn't so bad. He never had been. And he wouldn't have hit his sister--though he wanted to right now. And if he got her camera, he probably would want to break it.
"Fuck you, it is," Jase had no intention of giving it back either. Though, he couldn't help but glance over to Mickey. He was being too quiet over there. Though, when he saw that he was just watching critically, he could see why. He was studying the situation and picking up on it. No doubt he was trying to solve who the guy was and probably coming up with a few close to correct answers. Damn it. Then the fist came at him. Had he been sober, it might have connected. Hell, if he wasn't with his siblings, he might have thought the violence was a little hotter than he should. He should be appealing when he was angry. And Jase shouldn't have wanted to tug him away to distract him from it. "You know that's not it!" He exclaimed, looking down at him. Quickly, he crouched down in front of him. "Just stop. All right? You're not thinking straight." He didn't want him to say a word.
"No, hey, don't stop him. I'd like to hear this." And there was Mickey and his stupid voice again.

Maya rolled her eyes. "Yeah, right." She knew he wouldn't. The thought was laughable. Jase couldn't hurt a fly. Well...maybe a fly. But nothing much worse. It was why she was doing this. Maya was a smart kid. She knew who to mess with, and who to leave alone. Now, if it was Mickey, Maya would have left it alone. Same went for Jake and Gordon. But Jase? Jase was fair game. The only real reason she even had for doing this was absolute boredom. Maya was one of the only kids in the family who didn't have a twin. And because she couldn't do everything that Gordan and Sterling could do, she was limited in how much time they would spend with her. So, naturally, the girl got bored. She needed to stir things up. And this would definitely do the trick.
Somebody was going to be in trouble.
As Aleiah's cab pulled in the driveway, that was her first cab. She didn't even recognize the truck that was parked lopsided. Aleiah payed the driver before crossing the grass, since she couldn't go up the driveway. She noticed the fallen lawn gnome and frowned, picking it up. "Poor little guy." She was sure he could be fixed, though. His hat just was broken off, that was all. Tucking him under her arm, she went and unlocked the front door, stepping inside. Instantly, she heard Mickey's voice, though she hadn't caught what was said. So, she walked towards the voice, deciding to speak up as she neared him. "Hey, someone did a really bad parking job. Dad isn't--" she stopped when she noticed that they had company. She looked to her twin, eyebrows raised. "We have company?" She ended it in a question, because she wanted to know what was going on.
"I don't know nothing," he slurred angrily when Jase spoke. As he crouched down in front of him, he took that opportunity to shove him and stand up, staggering sideways and bumping into Aleiah while he was at it. "No! Don't tell me what to do, Jase! I'm tired of being a-a nobody! I'm tired of not being able to call because you're with your fucking family! I...I love you damn it!" And there it was. He had never used those words before, to anyone. He barely even told his family that he loved them. He sure as hell had never had anyone--boy or girl--that he had ever claimed to love. The reason? He never saw the point in saying it if he didn't. But, Jase had stolen his heart. So, as he yelled at him, he shouted out those three words that he had never even uttered sober to him. And more than likely, he wouldn't be remembering it, either.

“Don’t test me!” Jase snapped, pointing a finger at Maya. If there had been any validity to the threat, maybe it would have made a difference. It would have been nice to be able to act on it. Especially when he wanted to take that camera and shatter it on the ground. This was the last thing that he wanted to deal with tonight. And for a moment, he wasn’t sure who he was more irritated by, his brother and sister or Lyle. This couldn’t be happening! How the fuck was he supposed to do fix this? He was lucky enough that his parents weren’t home, but that didn’t make it easier with Mikhail and Maya. And then, as if the universe was against him, yet another one of them had to come in. This was the problem with a large family.
He couldn’t even quietly remove his drunk boyfriend without someone else getting in the way. The second Aleiah walked in, he let out an audible groan. “Don’t you guys have lives?” He needed to get them out of there. And as frustrated as he was, Mickey was too amused. When Aleiah joined them, he didn’t even bother not to laugh out loud about it.
“Oh, we do.”
Pushed out of the way, he scrambled to his feet. “Lyle!” He began, but went dead silent by the time he finished what he had to say. Nothing came to him at first. Not only had he never heard him say it before, but he didn’t need it announced in front of his brother or sisters either. Of all the times to say it! In all honesty, it might have been a little hot to be told it when emotions were running that high, but not here and now. Not when he had to worry about everyone else. “Fuck! Lyle!” “Shit, you know how to pick them, don’t you?” Mickey forgot any shred of shame that he ever had, laughing still. Oh, this was great. He wasn’t sure what drove Jase to go for a guy like that. But, right now, he kind of wished he was the one that was holding the camera. And fighting the urge to punch Mikhail, he quickly rushed to Lyle instead. He didn’t have time to think about it. There wasn’t any room to be half as shocked as he was. If it were any other situation, he probably would have been thrown into silence. But, here, he had to get him away from the rest. And fuck. He loved him? He loved him?
“Come on, we’re going.” He attempted to grab Lyle by the arm. He would have to do damage control later, but first, he needed to get him out of sight.

Aleiah's eyebrows raised. Wow. This was definitely not what she thought she was going to be hearing. Grabbing her older brother's arm, she tugged on it "Come on, Mick. Get Maya out of here. These two need to talk." She was probably the one who would understand it the most. She had been in love not long ago. Up until just a week ago, when she caught her fiancee with another woman. Right now, she didn't even know if she believed that love really even existed. But her opinion didn't matter here. This was her Oct she was thinking about. And while she loved her younger sister, she knew that Maya was a conniving little bitch. She really didn't need to be here, with a video camera.
He didn't get it, did he? Fuck. He didn't want to be hidden from everyone's sight. He wanted them to know about him. He wanted to hang out with them. And while he had never told Jase this before, well...he was telling him now. And nothing, nothing he could do was going to deter him. He was on a drunken mission. "Fuck it," he growled before hearing Mickey. He glared at the older man before stepping into his face and giving him as hard as a shove as he could muster. Which, considering he was completely wasted, it wasn't hard at all.
"Fuck you, pretty boy. Wanna take this outside?" He was ready to defend his honor, even to Jase's brother. He was pretty sure he was his brother, anyways. As Jase grabbed his arm, he glared at him and without thinking, pulled him close and kissed him. He couldn't deny him after that, right? He could deny him with everything else, but he couldn't deny him if he kissed him. It seemed like a good plan, anyways. "I'm not going anywhere. I want you to tell them, tell all of them." Even though, after what he had just done, actually saying it was really unnecessary.
