"Destroy them all."
When those words were uttered to her by the brunette, Willow lost her free will. It wasn't that she was still evil. No, she had her dark moments, but that was months ago. She had spent the summer in England, getting fixed and coping with everything, with the help of Giles. She couldn't have done it without him. Of course, she felt guilty as well. But mostly, she was just grateful. He never had to help her. He had advised her against practicing magic when she was younger, back when she was just trying to make a pencil float. And now...look at what she did. She nearly destroyed the world. And now, she was about to do it again. But this time, it wasn't her decision. This time, she had no choice. And this time, she wasn't conscious of anything while her body simply obeyed.
When she sat beside Willow and told her she knew who she was, Eden McCain had claimed to be a friend. Claimed to be somebody who understood. Because she had powers, too, she said. She knew what it was like to lose control. She had the powers of persuasion. When she told someone to do it, they did it. And they wouldn't regain control over their bodies, nor be conscious of what they were doing, until it was done. Nobody had found a way to stop her yet. And it could at times be overwhelming. Willow never thought for a second that she would use her powers on her. She had felt comfortable opening up to the girl she had met on the plane. “But, see, I had complete control over what I did. I was just too tormented to care. It's kinda scary when I think about it. I could have killed my best friend.”
But as the plane landed in New York and Willow headed for her connection to go on to LA, she was stopped by the older woman. And suddenly, she couldn't move. “Do it. Control the world. Take down everyone with power. Destroy them all. Especially the witches in San Francisco. Send them to Hell.”
It wasn't simple polite conversation. It was an order. Eden had played buddy long enough and it was time to get down to business.
So that was why Willow was here, facing the manor. How she got here, only Eden could tell. She would not be meeting her friends at the airport. No, she was obeying the command that took her free will. And what was worse, because her mind was open and her defenses were down, it made it easier for a demon to claim her as a meatsuit, especially seeing the mission she was forced to embark on. He had allowed his black eyes to be shown. He muttered a spell under his breath, preventing anyone from entering or leaving the house. This should definitely be fun. Lilith had been after these witches for some time now. Now, it looked like he would be able to deliver, unlike so many times before.
