Monkeys were cool. As he stood, facing the glass, that was one thing he kept thinking. They were cool. The creature was staring back at him, and was mimicking everything he was doing. He jumped to the side, so did the monkey. It even tried to give him a high five. He wondered why they didn't have one at home. That would be so cool. He would call it Abe and he would teach it to play Jenga. Yes, he was that lonely. For being in amongst 18 siblings, Seth could really find himself wanting for company. It wasn't because he didn't like his siblings. But, he was kind of an odd ball. He wasn't athletic or gifted in any way. But, he could go to video game competitions and kick ass. And when he took home the trophy and winner's check, yeah, he was given some props for that. But that only happened, what? Twice a year?
He wasn't in with the popular crowd at Richmond. He didn't fit in with the athletes. Or, anyone else, either. It was like he was amongst pod people. Even at home. He sometimes wondered if these were even his real parents. Yeah, he was that much of an odd one out. And because he had no social life, he was the one designated to take the kiddies--Brick, Constance, and Charlie-- to the zoo. Which is why he was here, staring at a monkey. With a chuckle, he put his fist to the glass, knuckle bumping the primate through glass. He then turned to look at his brother. Brick, despite where they were at, had his nose in a book.
"Dude, come on, really?"
"It says here that this type of monkey is closest to our DNA"
"Don't you want tosee it?"
"There's a picture." Brick wasn't even looking up. Seth sighed. Great, just great. "Well, ok so who wants ice cream?"
