Stormy is not your average girl. She knows that she is not normal like most kids her age and she would not have it any other way. She is a sweet kid if you get to know her. But most kids won't even try because of her interest in the supernatural. She has often been teased and bullied because of it. But Stormy is not a fighter. She could never hold herself in a fight. She would most likely lose. But Stormy does not like to fight. She does not believe in solving problems that way. She’s a lover, not a fighter.

This girls biggest downfall, however, is her Bipolar Disorder. One minute she would be so happy and wanting to do everything. But then the next minute, her mood would take a downfall and she would feel like everything is so dark. When she is on her meds, she can keep her mood evened out. But when off of them? She doesn’t get violent or anything towards people. The only person who she may put in harm’s way is only herself.

Stormy Starr Gilmore was born on August 31. But really, maybe Halloween night would have been better suited for the birth of this baby girl. With the way the child grew up. Although, you definitely cannot say that this child did not grow up in a happy family. Because she did. She had two of the best of parents. Mary and Luke Gilmore. They never once raised a hand to their child. They never even raised their voices. If Stormy ever did get into some sort of trouble, it was talked out calmly and rationally. That was the way that it was preferred in their household.

Who knows when or how this whole obsession with the Supernatural started. Stormy was pretty young when it had begun so it's a little foggy in her mind. But all she really remembered was that she was around the age of 4 or 5 when the obsession began. And every year when she started a new grade in school, Stormy was often teased and made fun of because of her strong beliefs. But she usually tried not to let it get to her. Or at least she pretended that it didn't when really deep down it did.

It was about four months after Stormy had turned 11 that she had lost both of her parents. Her father had been killed when he was accidentally shot. The bullet had been meant for this young lady. About 19 years old. And Luke had pushed the girl out of the way, taking the bullet himself. He had been rushed to the hospital, where he had died shortly after his arrival. But then what was even worse was, forgetting all about her daughter, Mary just could not take it anymore after losing her husband. It had been two weeks since the incident and she ended up jumping off the bridge.

And so 11-year-old Stormy had been sent to live with a foster family. From then on, she was placed in and out of foster homes. And finally when she was 14-years-old, she was sent to live with this family who had two children of their own. They thought that they were going to adopt Stormy and so they went ahead and made their move from London to Toronto. However, Stormy just couldn't take anymore and had tried to hang herself in her new bedroom. But she was found in time. But the parents decided that the girl needed help and they could not have a troubled child like her. And so from there, Stormy had been sent to a psychiatric hospital for months. Because she had kept threatening to kill herself. She even got a hold of some drugs from the nurses station and stuck herself with a needle and taking a whole bottle of pills, trying to overdose.

To make a long story short, Stormy had been locked up in that hospital for over a year and now had just finally gotten out and is about to start attending Degrassi Community School.
