In order to get him to go away and leave her alone, Rhean performed oral sex for him.
Overall Personality: Rhean tends to be all about business. Because of her line of work, she refuses to allow herself to actually care about most people. She puts on a sad face to sympathize with the victim to get the information she needs, but she doesn’t actually care. But she doesn’t do this to be hard-hearted or selfish. She does it to preserve her sanity. She knows that as a homicide detective, she simply cannot care about every single victim, because then she would constantly be in misery.
While Rhean has a very small circle of people she is friends with, she does have people she cares about. Danny Maxwell is now one of them, along with his family. Around them, she shows her non-professional side, the one that can laugh as well as cry and show true emotions. For these people, Rhean is comfortable talking about anything, including the job.

Background: Rhean was born in the states. Her mother, a typical teenage groupie of Kid Elrick, got pregnant after she won the right to go touring with him for a summer, along with several other people. The two had a fling, and when she got pregnant, he promised to be there for the baby. He kept his promise, sending child support and Christmas and birthday gifts. When Rhean was eleven, her mom moved as a result of her job to Toronto, where they lived with the Hogarts for a while. Rhean and Jay were friends, until their parents broke up and they moved once more. Her mother was a type of free spirit, who loved to move around and try different things.
When Rhean was fifteen, though, her life came to a halt. One day when she came home from school, she found her mother murdered, a victim of a serial killer. The man was still in the house, where he was cleaning up afterwards. The girl hid under her bed, called 9-1-1 and whispered her emergency. It didn’t take police seconds to show up and arrest the man. Several months later, after Rhean testified, he was found guilty and sentenced to prison for life. While she had been under the careful eye of social services all this time, now they decided to send her to live with her father.
It was hard for Rhean, adjusting to the life her dad led. There were constantly bodyguards, women were always throwing themselves at him. She didn’t know who wanted to actually be friends and who just wanted to get close to her father. Wanting Rhean to have a chance at somewhat of a normal life, he moved her back to Toronto, where she reunited with Jay, and met Marco and Ben, and Craig. The girl was somewhat naïve, and when Jay offered her a drink, the teenager asked for a soda. She was still pretty shy after what happened to her mother, though, and for that reason stuck pretty close to Jay and Marco only. Of course, when it comes to Jay Hogart, some of Rhean’s innocence was taken when he introduced her to alcohol, the ravine, etc. While she never did anything with Jay, he took her down the road to meet plenty of guys she did do things with.
After graduating high school, Rhean already knew what she wanted to do next. She had known since the day her mother was murdered. She was going to be a detective. Her father warned her it was a long, scary process that could give her nightmares, but she insisted that was what she wanted to do. So, he paid her way into the finest criminal justice program, where Rhean got her degree and went on to work in law enforcement.
Her first assignment was to go to Wasega Beach and work Vice. She worked her assignment for ten years, during which she met her husband, Walter, when he didn’t realize she was undercover and tried to arrest her. When he found out the truth, he offered to make it up to her by taking her out to dinner. As their relationship progressed, so did her career. It was when their daughter was four years old that Rhean got her big break. She caught a serial killer that was killing prostitutes, copying Jack the Ripper. Catching him earned Rhean her detective shield.
She received the invitation to work in Toronto just weeks after she became detective. After talking it over with her husband, the couple decided to go. Rhean was put with her first partner as a detective, Mark. The two didn’t work that great together, but Rhean decided she could make it work. After all, she was living the dream. When her husband unexpectedly committed suicide just six months after her daughter’s ninth birthday, though, Rhean committed herself fully to her work. She barely had time to sleep, let alone spend with her daughter, because she was so engrossed in her cases.
When the Sniper case came around, Rhean never expected it to be different. But before long, her partner was receiving letters, demands. And when he refused to meet any of them, she never thought that it would get so bad. But one day when she was at work, her partner’s head, along with a note, was delivered. Because of that, Rhean has been working to both meet the Sniper’s demands, and catch him at the same time. She doesn’t want to see anyone else dead. Now that she has a new partner, she is hoping he can prove his worth and help her catch him. In addition, she now has a new man in her life, which Rhean is starting to learn that it can be difficult to make a psychopath happy and make yourself happy at the same time. She has to decide whose happiness is more important, and it is a hard choice to make.
