"You again?" Vice Principal Snyder snorted as he eyed the young officer. "I told you. Principal Stone isn't here. I'm in charge now. And I said, get out."
"I wouldn't do that if I were you," a female voice cut in as the dark-haired woman took a step inside the office beside her.
William looked her up and down. "Who are you?" he demanded.
your worst nightmare. Too bad she couldn't say what she thought. Instead, she held out a form for him to take. "Detective Garrett. I have a warrant that gives my officers the right to search any and all lockers, as well as the rest of the school. So, unless you want to be arrested for obstruction of justice, I suggest you step aside. Officer Yorke will be doing her job, if I have to stay here and make sure you let her."
He openly glared at her. This was his school. He could have told her that he did not have any murderers in his school. But, he had no desire to be arrested, either. "Fine." his words were pressed as he scoffed and pushed past the two women to get into the hallway. To his dismay, a few students had overheard.
"You're gonna arrest Snyder?" Ian asked, with a laugh. "Do it!"
"That's enough, Mr. DiMarco. You just earned yourself two saturday detentions. Now, go to class!" he growled at him. He eyed the other students, and when he saw Tara Maxwell drawing, he reached down and took her pad.
"Hey!" she yelped, looking up. "That's mine!"
"What is this?" he demanded, holding up a picture of her mother being eaten by hellhounds.
"An artistic expression. Can I have my pad back?" she asked, impatiently.
"Who is the subject?" he demanded.
"Not you," she replied shortly.
"What was that?"
Tara gave him an annoyed look. "I said, it's not you, so you don't have to worry."
"I don't like your attitude," he informed her, tucking her pad under his arm as he folded his arms.
"I don't like yours, either. Looks like we have something in common." Who was this jackass, anyway? Tara had no clue. Seeing the cop with the neighbor, she looked at him. "I should go. My locker might need to be searched or something."
"Detention," he said firmly as she turned away. Slowly, she turned back.
"Excuse me?"
"three weeks. Maybe by the end of that time, you'll learn to address your principal with respect."
Grace followed Rhean's lead as she stepped into the hallway. Watching the scene, Rhean shook her head. "Start with his office, Grace."
Grinning, the nineteen year old smirked. She had always hated Snyder. This was going to be fun. "My pleasure."

"Aidan!" Tristan hissed quietly as Aidan pulled the rolling office chair out of the janitor's closet where it was being stored. Tristan knew where this was going and it would have been fine if it were at the end of the school or during a club meeting, but not during school hours when teachers and principals were on the prowl. He was going to get himself killed and everyone knew that death by teacher was a cruel, slow way to die. "You're going to get in trouble, you moron." He said, but it didn't stop the other boy from pulling the chair out and shutting the door behind him. There were no teachers in that hallway; only a couple of students. The teachers were tucked away into their classrooms, so Aidan figured they would be fine. Tristan, on the other hand, wouldn't stop protesting.
"It's fine. There's not even a teacher around. It'll be fun." He grinned at his friend, despite the wary look he was casting him. He needed to learn to live a little. If Scott were here, he would be right behind him. And they would have eventually roped Tristan into it too. But Tristan kept folding his arms, so Aidan reached out and lightly pushed him. "Come on, stop being such a fun-killer." He dragged the chair to one point of the hall and Tristan followed.
"If you die, I'm not helping you." He assured, but after a quick argument on who went first (Aidan wanted Tristan to, but Tristan would rather jump off a cliff than be pushed), Aidan got into the chair, crouching on it with his hands on either arm.
"All right, as hard as you can." Tristan nodded and pulled Aidan back before he ran with the chair, giving it momentum before he let go, sending Aidan soaring down the hall. What they didn't take into account, however was that there was a hall in between the start and end that he was going to wind up sailing past. Not only that, but he never made it to the other end. The chair wound up angled towards a wall and hit it with a crash, probably in clear view of the other corridor. There were a few laughs from a few of the kids that were hanging out and had gotten out of the way, but Tristan stayed back where he had pushed, eyes wide. Oh, crap.
It was close to being Aidan's lucky day though, since obviously crashing into walls meant that someone would notice and the teacher in the room next to the wall he hit would probably have heard it. And he was right, because Danny hadn't gone without noticing a sudden thud and crash from outside. Because of it, he looked outside, only to see a toppled chair on the ground, along with a teenager. At first his eyebrows lifted, but then he couldn't help the laugh that came. Especially when Aidan looked up, already fearing trouble. "Oh, hi." He said with an attempt at an innocent smile.
"Hi." Danny replied and reached down to help the kid up from the chair. "Don't worry, I think the wall taught you a better lesson than I can." He said, voice still full of amusement. Of course he knew some teachers would probably have dealt something out, but he wasn't going to and he didn't plan to rat him out to anyone either. He helped him up, only then to notice the vice principal in the other hall, along with Tara. "Is something going on over there?"
"I dunno." Aidan replied, brushing himself off as Tristan continued to stay at the other end of the hall, in shock.
Asriel had been going down the hall when Snyder went after Tara's drawing pad, and once he delivered detention, he stepped up beside Tara. "It's not worth the fight. He's like a snake, one wrong move and he'll eat you." He whispered. Hey, she was new, wasn't she? She could have used the extra advice when dealing with the vice principal. Asriel, personally, thought that he was a complete dick. Though, he was sure that she was going to be getting that impression quickly. He really didn't know her that well, except for a familiar face, but at the same time, he wasn't shy enough to not approach her about it. It was probably best not to fight with him and to avoid the detention. It wasn't always easy though and Asriel knew that from his perspective, it was always hard not to talk to back people when they annoyed him.
"He's not lying." Brandon interjected, from where he sat up against the lockers. He had been minding his own business most of the time, but he was close enough to Tara and Asriel that he could hear their conversation. And of course he had watched Snyder and the cops go by.

His head jerked up when he heard the crash. As he started to head in the direction, though, he heard the boys. His head snapping back to glare at them, he spoke again. "Nice to know you boys will be enjoying her company. Keep going, and you'll also be spending the next three weeks serving in the cafeteria." he told them in warning. Then, without waiting for responses from the insolent youths, he walked over to where Aidan and Danny were. His eyes narrowed on the collapsed chair.
"Who's responsible for this?" he asked, now directing the question to Mr. Maxwell. William knew better than to ask the students. They would lie and try to slip past his detention pad that was already about to be filled out with four names. He didn't bother to stop to jot them down, though. One thing about Principal Snyder, he was excellent at remembering names.
Tara cringed at the thought of wearing a hair net. Leaning over, she whispered "will he really do that?" It was risky to ask, probably. But he hadn't even noticed it that time. Tara hadn't meant to make such a bad impression with the vice principal. It was just, she hadn't known that he was the vice principal. When he didn't return her pad, though, she had to speak up again.
"What about my pad?" Tara whimpered as he walked away. Looking back at Asriel and then at Brandon, she frowned. "Sorry." she hadn't meant to get them signed up for three weeks worth of detention. At a better glance, the teenager realized that she knew them..sort of. She had Media Immersion with them, and she was sure that she had at least one other class with Asriel. "Uhm...I'm sorry. I'm terrible at names." Hey, if they were going to spend an eternity in detention together, she might as well learn who they were.

"What? No way." Asriel groaned, because of course that wasn't what he wanted. Nor did Brandon, naturally, but he just rolled his eyes. Asriel looked at Tara and nodded sagely. "Yeah, he will, don't question him. I told you, snake." He warned again, figuring that sense he was walking away, it was safe to reply to her. He knew better than that talk back, but really people like Snyder made it impossible. What he didn't want, however was to be spending his time in detention. No one wanted that, but come on, that's where all of the troublemakers wound up and Asriel was better than being around those guys.
"Forget the pad. It's lost now." Brandon replied and stood up. It really wasn't going to do any good to try to get it back. Not unless they wanted more detention. "I'm Brandon." He introduced with a nod.
"Asriel." Asriel added, "You're new around here, right?" He asked, because he was certain that she was and that he had a couple of classes with her.
When Snyder approached them, Danny frowned, almost wanting to apologize to the poor kid that was probably not exempt from getting into trouble now. Aidan picked up on the need to worry fast and looked between Mr. Maxwell and the vice principal. Hey, everything was going so well too! And he sent a glance down the hall where Tristan was still standing, just staring at him and throwing apologetic looks. Hey, he wasn't going down there to get in trouble too.
"Oh, it was just an accident. Don't worry, I've taken care of it, it won't happen again." Danny replied to Snyder, in an attempt to defuse the situation and to keep Aidan from having to wind up in detention after he had just let him off the hook. Of course, he knew that if he wanted to throw a detention at the kid, he couldn't do anything about it. He recognized the pad in his hand, however, and given that he just saw him down the hall with Tara and a couple of other kids, he looked to Snyder. "Is that Tara's?"
Aidan continued to look between them, keeping his mouth shut, since it looked like the teacher wasn't going to point a finger at him at all. And if he was going to defend him, he might as well be quiet. He only needed to talk if it looked like it was going badly.

She nodded. "Newish, yeah," she answered with a sigh. "Tara Maxwell. You guys are in my dad's class with me." Though, she looked down the hall with a sigh. She liked her pad! Not only that, but since her dad was a teacher, then the chances of him seeing the hell-hound attack on her mother were probably pretty high. She really didn't need that happening. "Someone oughtta throw a rock in his window," she muttered. Then, trying to get her mind off of her pad, she looked at them again.
"Hey. You guys want to sign a petition?" she asked with a smile. "Or, participate in a poll? The poll's for an..experiment that I'm doing." Experiment, yeah. Because screwing up and running her dad off was an experiment now. Reaching in her backpack, she pulled out both the petition, and the sheet of paper that she was jotting answers down for her so-called poll. Yeah, she was already showing her activist side, but she didn't really care. She was proud of her protests and such.
"That is not your decision to make, Mr. Maxwell. You're already on thin ice with that article that came out. I knew that newspaper was a waste of time. It should be disbanned." When he asked about the pad, he looked down at it. "Not anymore," he said, before noticing Aidan. "Mr. Del Rossi. Why do I get the feeling it was you?"

"I've seen you," Asriel replied, recalling her from class. He chuckled under his breath at the window comment. "Sure, if you want to be suspended." Personally, he wanted to be in as little trouble as possible. He didn't want to draw that type of attention to himself. Although, he seemed to already have himself in enough. He didn't find it fair either, given that he thought he should be too good to wind up in detention. That didn't happen to guys like him, not regularly.
Brandon raised an eyebrow at the question and reached out to take the paper for the poll. "What type of poll is this?" He asked, curiously. He wasn't an activist, in the least. It really wasn't his territory at all, but he figured it wouldn't hurt to put something down for her. He didn't have anything better to do.
Danny frowned; hey, at least he gave it a shot. He felt bad for the kid, but when he heard him mention the newspaper, he wasn't just going to let that go. "Excuse me? It's not a waste of time. One mistake shouldn't determine the value of the paper." The students deserved a paper, and there was nothing pointless about a newspaper, student run or otherwise. It was important to give them a voice and to have an outlet, along with information. "...Not anymore?" Already, he didn't like where this conversation was going. "It's my daughter's property, I'm sure you can hand it over to me." And shouldn't he? Wasn't that generally how these things worked?
Aidan would have been happy to slip off about now, but froze when Snyder addressed him. He swallowed and looked from Mr. Maxwell, to Snyder, then to the chair before looking back at Snyder. "Me? No. See these two thug guys--jocks, they forced me to do it. I'm not behind anything!" He informed him, matter-of-factly with a nod. That sounded believable, right?

Tara shrugged. "Sometimes, you just gotta stand up for injustice, no matter the consequences." she said simply when he mentioned being suspended. "Besides, that's only if you're caught. If you wait for the right circumstances, like when they have a faculty meeting, then there's no teachers or anyone around to catch you." And being a teacher's daughter, she happened to know when the faculty met. "Something needs to be done." He was evil! Why was it that the short teachers were always the meanest?
When Brandon questioned her, she grinned and handed it to him. "Just one question. What's the worst thing you've ever gotten in trouble for?" Because, she needed ideas. Tara knew what she had to do. She had to screw up so badly that her dad would leave. Because, his leaving was inevitable. And he might as well just get out of there. And if she was the cause of him leaving, then it would be quick and easy for him. Nobody would get hurt. Well, except for her brother. But if her dad was going to leave, then he didn't need to stick around. The longer it took for him to go, the more hurt her brother would be.
"One mistake?" He stepped forward, closing in the gap between himself and the taller man. "That article could very well cause us to lose our good standing with the superintendant. A mistake like that could cause us to lose the right to hold fundraisers, it could cause us to lose our spors teams. Don't talk to me about one mistake, Mr. Maxwell. You're just a new teacher, you have no idea what it's like to run a school. And undermining my authority could lead to your eventual dismissal. I hope you're enjoying detention, Mr. Maxwell. Because you'll be supervising it for the rest of the term." When he asked for his daughter's pad, he snorted. "You may pick it up at the end of the day."
And then he had to deal with Aidan's lame excuses. "Jocks?" he folded his arms, now stepping in Aidan's face. "Fine. Point out these jocks for me." Oh, he didn't think Aidan was telling the truth. And he already had a few things in mind for him. But first, he waited to see what the young man would tell him.
Melissa wished she had just not come today, like she wanted to. She had wanted to sleep in and not worry about it. But, her mother woke her up and bribed her with donuts. She had just arrived at school, donut in hand, when she came across the scene with Snyder and Aidan. The redhead raised her eyebrows and looked around. When she spotted her boyfriend, she silently walked over and slipped her hand in his. With a small smile, she whispered, "what's going on?"

"How're we supposed to know when the faculty meetings are?" Asriel asked, because to him it seemed like a lot of work just to throw a rock. Of course he would like to see Snyder get the punishment that he deserved. He simply didn't want to be suspended for any length of time. As much as he would like to be elsewhere, rather than stuck in school, he didn't want to get out of it that way. Besides, with his luck it would be an in school suspension or detention for the rest of his life. Or, as long as he was in high school anyway. And that wasn't how he wanted to spend his time.
Brandon looked at her and then the paper. "The worst thing I got in trouble for?" He asked, and it took a minute to really think about it. Most of the time, he didn't get into a lot of trouble. He spent a lot of his time lecturing his dad more than he ever got into trouble himself. Though, there was the bank thing to think about. So, after a moment of thought, he wrote it down. "I tried to rob a bank right now. It was stupid." He replied, because it really wasn't anything he was proud of. It was a mistake.
Danny watched Synder warily when he closed the gap between them. When he went on about the risks, it took him a lot of effort not to scoff at him. Instead, he calmly looked at him with disbelief. "No, I don't, but I've taught in a high school long enough to know that these problems don't cause schools to lose their sports teams." He replied and while it had never been quite to that extent. He had seen plenty of teenagers pull crap that caused a certain amount of outrage. It was the threat on his job that made it difficult not to offer a quip back. "My dismissal? I don't remember you being the one to sign my paycheck, sir." He reminded him, not meaning to undermine his authority... Or whatever. "That's fine then." He replied, not happy about having to supervise detention for the rest of the term, but he wasn't going to fight it at this point. "Okay." He didn't see why he couldn't just give him the book now, but he'd swing by to grab it later.
Aidan looked at the teacher like he was crazy, not only that but like he was digging his own grave. But, he didn't have time to pity him and instead looked at Snyder and stepped back. "I can't. They took off that way. They were football players though." He told him and pointed off in a random direction down the hall.
Tristan was still watching and as Melissa slipped up, he took her hand and continued to stare down at what was happening. "Aidan's in trouble." He replied softly, looking at her with a bit of a smile. "I don't think he's going to get out of it." He added, although it was partially his fault, because he agreed to it. But, he wasn't about to go over and admit to it. Oh no, never.

A sly grin appeared on Tara's face. "You find out from the new Media Immersion Teacher's daughter" Tara had always been one to say with pride that her father was a teacher. It was just that normally, she wasn't causing trouble in school. Normally, her activism was kept within the boundaries of the Student Voice club. It was just that, well, there wasn't a student voice club here. And considering the way her first run-in with Snyder had gone, she wasn't going to be allowed to start one anytime soon.
She looked at Brandon. "Seriously?" she asked, surprised. "Wow. Mr. Hardcore" she bit her lip. "We should totally hang out sometime. All three of us. It could be cool." And, it could unnerve her dad that she was hanging out with a criminal. But, she wouldn't say that part. She would definitely keep it in mind, but she didn't think she'd be doing that anytime soon. Maybe if she tried everything else in the world and needed just one more thing to push him off the edge. To Asriel, she bit her lip. "What about you?"
William's eyes narrowed in on Danny. "Maybe not, but I can sign your release. I am the principal while Mrs. Stone isn't here." And he had every intention of holding it over the staff and students' heads. When Aidan spoke up again, he rolled his eyes. "You are lucky that corporal punishment is illegal, Mr. Del Rossi. But perhaps a month of detention and cafeteria service will serve at least particlaly the same good."
"Matt, I need to look in your locker," Grace had told him. Matt rolled his eyes and led her to where it was, which happened to be right by the whole mess with Aidan and Mr. Maxwell. When he heard what Snyder said, though, he slammed the locker back shut and turned, glaring. He already had to deal with Jack, he was not going to let his brother take that shit from anybody else!
"Hey, douchebag" he called to him, smacking the man's toupee off of his head. "Leave Aidan alone." The teenager was taller than the principal was, so standing there, facing him, made him feel superior for about a split second. When the man picked up the hairpiece, he folded his arms, ready to pull the tough-guy act. But then, Snyder gave him a look that made him want to cower.
"Matthew Del Rossi. You better watch yourself. You have a record this year. One slip-up, and I can expel you."
Matt shook his head. "What, that? It was an accident." Sure, sure it was.
"You think you're so tough? Let's see how you handle working beside your brother. One month, Mr. Del Rossi. And you better be careful" he put his hands on his hips. "I'm watching you."
"Good morning, Mr. Snyder!" The cheerful voice rang across the hall as Natasha was putting up some hot pink decorations. Really, she should have just left him alone. Because as soon as she called to him, the principal was pushing past Matt and Aidan to walk over to her.
"Ms. Simpson. What have I said about vandalising school property?" he demanded.
"Oh, this isn't vandalism, Mr. Snyder! It's decorating! Vandlism is when the end result doesn't come back off. See?" she pulled it off and stuck it back on. "It has stick ons! Easy on, easy off! So how are you, Mr. Snyder? It's a beautiful day, don't you think?"
His eyes narrowed. "I don't like your attitude, young lady. Talking back to the principal!"
She paused, looking at him. "But,...you're talking to me. It would be rude to not talk back!"
Furious, he snatched her decorations from her. "I'll see you in detention all this week. Is that clear?"
The blond blinked. "what??" she could feel tears fill her eyes. "but--"
"no buts!"
Melissa raised her eyebrows. "I guess he hasn't had his coffee yet," she said with a giggle. Hey, it wasn't like she was at the receiving end of it. Looking to Tristan, she held up the bag of donuts in her hand. "Want some breakfast? It's not like you can do anything to help him." With Principal Snyder on a rampage, nobody could be helped. It was that simple. And, well, she'd like to have breakfast with her boyfriend.

"You must be able to cause all kinds of trouble with that connection," Asriel replied with a smirk. Of course, having a family member in staff would probably also help keep her out of trouble, when she did cause it. He supposed it could work to someone's advantage easily enough. And honestly, he spent a lot of time wondering about how to use different aspects of his life and the school to his advantage. The more it did for him, the better.
Brandon shrugged at being called hardcore. He really wasn't, not like that. He didn't break laws normally and although he bullied and acted up, it was more of his way to push people away rather than to cause trouble. He didn't want to be in trouble, he simply wanted the attention and didn't want to risk being too close. This time, however, he was starting to feel comfortable. They had left once, but his dad caved and brought them back. It wasn't like all the times before when he went from school to school and couldn't quite connect out of fear of either leaving or being left. "It really wasn't that impressive," he replied but then gave a small smile and a shrug. "Sure, why not?" He didn't mind hanging out and he honestly had little problem with Asriel.
Danny clenched his jaw shut at that. He didn't want to take threats lightly and he didn't appreciate having his job held over his head that way. He'd made a few big mistakes since he started working here, but it didn't seem to be going too terribly. Darcy seemed to like him enough not to fire him. And despite the coffee incident and the article, he was a good teacher. Frankly, he was confident in that area, but he didn't want to test him, because he was getting the feeling that he didn't care who was good or not. It was about being on his good side. If it had been a different context, he would have gladly asked what the hell his problem was. "I understand." He replied, and was honestly ready to walk away, but the comment to Aidan caused him to speak up first. "Hey, he's just being a kid." Come on, mentioning corporeal punishment just went too far.
Aidan thought so too. And his eyes widened at first and he bit his lip before reminding him, "But it's not." So, he was lucky and that was a very good thing. He didn't care if he got cafeteria duty, really. How bad was that? It could even be fun. And before he could say anything else, his brother had jumped to his defense and when he knocked the hairpiece off, he couldn't help but laugh. When he finally walked towards Natasha, he looked at his older brother and grinned. "Thanks." He said. "Hey, now we can hang out." Oh yeah, make the best out of a bad situation. Why not? He wasn't going to let Snyder get him down now that he was headed towards someone else.
"Careful boys, he's like a shark in the water." Danny said quietly to the students as Snyder went after Natasha. Vandalism, really? What the hell was his problem? Danny had no problem with handing out detentions, but this was going too far. He watched the interaction with Natasha and sighed. He was going to make the girl cry.
Now, had it been anyone else, Aidan might not have said anything, because he didn't want to be in more trouble. But, Natasha was family and it wasn't like she was doing anything wrong. They were allowed to put up decorations, weren't they? And when he went after her, he frowned. He might have stayed quiet, but Natasha looked ready to cry and he crossed his arms over his chest. "Hey, leave Natasha alone, you big jerk!"
"Seriously. What an ass." Tristan agreed, then looked at the doughnuts and grinned. "Sure." He said and took the bag, grabbing a doughnut from in. He knew there was nothing he could do and he wasn't going to try, because he didn't want that rage pointed at him. He would rather stay out of harm's way and eat doughnuts. "Do you wanna go sit down or something?" He asked.

Tara smiled a little. In her last school, being a teacher's kid didn't win approval from anyone. "I dunno. I guess," she said modestly. "I don't look to cause trouble. I just want to stand up for what's right. He needs to know that he just can't push us around like that. We're people, too. We do have rights." And she believed that, too. It was just, usually she wouldn't use a rock to make that statement. But Tara was angry. He had taken her drawing pad! That and, well, she needed to start putting her walls up when it came to her dad.
"Great," she said, when Brandon agreed to hang out. Looking at Asriel, she nodded. "What about your brother? Would he want to come, too?" she asked, of course, meaning Brayden. Oh, Tara knew that he was really a she. But she wasn't about to let on that she knew. What she didn't know, however, was that Brayden hadn't told his family. She thought it was odd, of course, that his older sister kept saying 'you mean Asriel,' when she was trying to pass on a message. But that could mean anything, right?
Hazel watched Danny from a distance. The two hadn't officially met, despite Mr. Maxwell having been there for a couple weeks. Hazel usually ran around like a headless chicken, and now she was even more so since Shequial joined the army. But now, watching him, she shook her head and decided to approach him. "William is like a robot. He only understands yes, sir and no, sir. Anything else makes his head explode," she spoke up with a shake of her head. "Careful, cowboy. You just got here. Don't make enemies so soon." Hazel had been teaching here for a few years. She was pretty sure she knew how to work Snyder. And hey, why not share some knowlege.
Matt watched Snyder, exhaling. When he heard Mr. Maxwell speak to him, he looked at him. "Man, I wish he would expel me." No, no he didn't. Actually, that would have been bad. He would no longer be in the same school as Jack. And he needed to be in the same school as Jack, to protect his siblings from him. But, he was frustrated. When Snyder went after Natasha, he winced, especially when Aidan approached him. "dude!" he went after his brother, grabbing his collar. "it's not gonna help," he told him, even though he had just done the same for him.
Snyder turned around and glared at Aidan. "Apparently, a month isn't enough for you."
Matt groaned. "Believe me, Principal Snyder. He got the point. Come on, Aidan."
"No, I don't think he did. So I think he needs to stay there for the rest of the semester. Is that a problem for you, Matthew? Because, you can always join him."
Matt glared at him. He wanted to punch him, or something. But, hey, if he served detention and cafeteria duty with him, then he could at least keep an eye on him. "What the hell? Sounds like fun."
Snyder couldn't believe his ears. Stepping closer, he folded his arms. "Get to class before I suspend you for the rest of the day. Now."
Melissa nodded. "Yeah, before we end up with a year's worth of detention for eating in the hallway or something," she said, when he asked if she wanted to sit down. Looking around, she bit her lip. "Rooftop?" hey, it would be nice, quiet, private, and away from stupid principals. She thought it was a good bargain.

"His head is as hard as a rock, there's no luck that he'll realize that." Brandon reminded her. Even if they did something to really catch his attention, he doubted that it would do anything to help. If anything, he would probably be harder on the students out of anger. At least, that was how Brandon imagined it to be. Maybe he was wrong, but he doubted it. Though, he still wouldn't mind taking it out. After all, he had detention now that he really hadn't looked forward to.
Asriel raised an eyebrow at Tara when she mentioned his brother. Brother? He had a brother once, but his brother was dead now and he looked at her with confusion. "You realize that I only have sisters, don't you?" Asriel asked. He didn't have any other brother and he didn't know why she would have thought that. He didn't spend a lot of time with his siblings and people didn't generally talk to him about them. Mary was his twin, hence she was closest to him, but the other two weren't exactly close and Asriel just hung out with his friends or whoever else he felt like being around, not his siblings.
Danny glanced over as Hazel approached him. With a look to Snyder before he looked back at her, he chuckled. "I'm realizing that." A robot was probably a good word for it. "I'm off to a rocky start, I think" He admitted and he knew that he had been. But, that was something that he figured would pass in time. Though, it probably wasn't likely to happen if he had another clashing moment with the vice principal. But, already the man looked like a hard one to stay on the good side of. "I'm Danny, by the way." He introduced.
Aidan whined when he grabbed his collar, because he wanted to help Natasha, but apparently that was a bad idea. "He shouldn't treat her like that though," he said, looking back to Matt. But, apparently Snyder had heard enough from him and he groaned. The rest of the semester? "Dude! It's not gonna help." Aidan parroted what Matt said, then when he was told to get to class he grabbed his brother's arm. "Come on. You're not allowed to have the day off." He teased, as if suspension could be a good thing.
"Yeah," Tristan said and he really didn't want to wind up with detention. He didn't want to do anything to get into trouble in the first place. So, with that, he nodded. "Come on." He smiled a little, hand still in hers as he started to head down the hall towards the door that led to the roof.

Tara looked down the hall and back at Brandon. Slowly, she grinned, mischeviously. "Oh, I know how to make sure he gets it. " Tara had been doing this for a while. While she knew her dad's preferences--signs and words--she didn't need to think about that now. "I'm kind of one of those extreme activists. Like this guy, Havoc, back in the early two thousands" she told him. She wasn't, though, not really. But part of her wanted to be, so she could feel closer to Havoc. He was her idol. He might not be protesting anything now, but she knew that had he been her age, he would have been helping her. Havoc was like a superhero to the fifteen year old. She wanted to be just like him.
To Asriel, she tilted her head. "What about Brayden?" Maybe he didn't consider him to be a real boy. She knew some people were like that. They wouldn't accept someone as being any other gender except for the one they were born with. It was terrible, she thought. Hello, they were in 2024, not the 1800's. But, she wouldn't be vocally judgy. After all, he seemed like an ok guy. She would just be silently putting him down. If that was even the case. Tara reminded herself not to pre-judge. But sometimes she couldn't help it; she was, after all, her mother's daughter.
Hazel nodded. Yeah, he was definitely off to a rocky start. "Pshh, no. Everyone starts off by dumping a cup of coffee on their ex-wives." She teased "But hey, at least you didn't dump anything on William. Score one for you." "Hazel Aden, I teach government, economics, grade 10 history, and grade ten English. Tara's in my second and fourth periods." She knew that switching schools couldn't be easy on him. Especially when it was Degrassi. Hell, she was surprised when he didn't take his daughter and run after the dance. She would have. But no, he wasn't running at all. In fact, he had taken over Emma's class. She thought that was really great of him.
Matt sighed when Aidan grabbed his arm. "No, we wouldn't want that." he said, looking at Aidan. He didn't know what the man expected him to do in class, since the bell wouldn't even ring for at least ten minutes. But, he walked away from him and made his way to Hazel's room. He hadn't spoken to Aidan, not really. It had been a while, and Matt had a lot on his mind. "I set fireworks off in a guy's house and suddenly, he wants to expel me" he said, looking at his younger brother. "What'd you do, anyway?" he had no idea what had happened. He just stood up for him because he was his brother.
Melissa followed him, looking behind to make sure they weren't being followed. She stayed silent until they were on the roof, and then she set her bag down and wrapped her arms around his neck, hugging him. "Hi" no whispering, no mouthing her words. Melissa trusted Tristan, and really, he was one of the few she did trust. Her mother and Kevin were the only other ones. So the teenager chose not to really speak to the others. Except Alanna, but that was because her mom made her try. She was so timid, that had there been anyone else up there, she would have fallen silent. But being alone with him, Melissa didn't think twice about just talking aloud. "Missed you," she said, looking up in his eyes, and she had. Since the dance, Melissa hadn't seen much of Tristan. Her mom was hurt, after all. She needed to be with her family. But that didn't mean she hadn't missed him.
Day two. Cameron tugged at his jeans, which because of the stupid social worker, he had to wear beneath his rear. Did boys really dress like that? The belt that kept his pants on him tried its best, but Cameron had the feeling that his jeans would be falling down sometime. He wasn't comfortable. But apparently, comfort didn't matter. As he stepped inside the hallway, he made sure that his earpiece was on. The sooner they found the killer, the sooner he could get out of there.
He spotted Rhean and avoided her. It would be very awkward to run into her, and he couldn't lie. His left eye twitched when he lied. Instead, he focused on the sneakers that he was forced to wear. Though, that didn't work out too well for him, because he ran right into the principal. He slowly looked up at the man, wide-eyed. Though, reason stated that he should just let Cameron pass. After all, he knew that he wasn't really a student. The chain of events that followed proved him very, very wrong.
Snyder put his hands on his hips. "Are you blind or something, Fisher?"
Cameron swallowed. "A-actually, I have twenty-twenty eye sight. According to the standards of optometry, that's perfect, although--"
"shut up!" He snapped at him. "Just because you're new here doesn't mean I'm going to let you do what you want."
"Clearly," Cameron muttered.
"What was that?"
"Well, if I could do what I wanted, I wouldn't be here, now would I, Nosey Rosie?" No, he would be out doing his job.
"I don't like your attitude"
"Well, considering your chosen profession, you don't have much choice but to listen to attitudes. I can't imagine why you would choose to be a simple administrator, but since that's what you chose, then that's what you get. It's simple sc-"
"I said, shut up! Maybe two weeks in detention will change your attitude."
Detention? Cameron blinked. "I have a question--"
"No! Now get out of here before I make it a month!"
"Alrighty." he looked around, he spotted the two teachers and walked over to them. "Excuse me, you look like you work here, though I can't imagine why after seeing your superior. I have a question concerning detention," he said, matter-of-factly.
Hazel looked at him and sighed. "What is it, Sam?" she asked him.
"What exactly is detention?" he asked, now looking at the male. He really preferred male instructors. They tended to be less emotional. So, as he asked, he looked at the man, anticipating his answer.
