Andrew pulled him close as they danced, his arms hugging his neck tightly. As a waitress walked by, he grabbed a drink and chugged it down, closing his eyes to keep from wincing at the strength of it. As he dropped the empty glass, he rested his head on the taller man's chest, tears slowly trickling down his face.
"I don't wanna lose him," he slurred, his hand that had been holding the glass now petting Davey's shoulder. The poor drunk man was miserable, and what was more, his feelings and emotions that he kept bottled in all this time were now coming out. And of all people to come out to, but Davey Callaghan. The two didn't even really get along that well. Andrew didn't like how irresponsible he was. When Davey was around, Andrew felt like he had another teenager in the house. Yet, here he was, venting to him like they were the best of friends.

"Man, I don't think that was yours," Davey noted, but couldn't help but laugh a little as he stole the drink. "Well, whatever, screw the rules." Of course, that was what Davey did more often than not. He believed heavily in the idea that too many rules were a definite bad thing. He liked to smack rules in the face and have a good time. He lived however he wanted to, whenever he wanted to. It was a nice way to be. Of course, it was made possible by one hell of an inheritance that he had been living off most of his adult life. But, whatever. Some people got lucky and he happened to be one of those. As they danced, he let their bodies stay close, moving in time with the music.
Davey was well aware of what Andrew thought of him, but it never really bugged him. If anything, he was a little amused with how annoyed he seemed to get with him. Andre did too on occasion, but come on, he spiced up their lives a little, didn't he? "You're not gonna lose him. Andy-boy's attached. Completely, fully, and unequivocally." He reminded him.

Oh, Davey made Andrew very angry at times. Secretly, though, Andrew came to think of Davey as like a son. One of those sons who just constantly tested his patience. Throughout the years, Andrew had developed the habit of calling Davey "Sonny," anytime he lost his temper. Which, even when he did lose his temper, it didn't really show too much. He never once yelled. Instead, he would give him an irritated look, say "Look here, Sonny," with a stern tone to his voice that he never even used with the girls, and then embark on a lecture. Usually, it would be when Davey snuck Andre alcohol. Andrew didn't think he was unreasonable to want Andre to avoid alcohol, considering he almost lost him to alcohol poisoning once. But, Davey apparently didn't agree. And that was where they mostly butted heads, and Andrew called him Sonny.
But now, as he danced with him and allowed Davey to hold him, he sniffed, wiping his eyes as he started to cry a little. "But--what if Sam tells him I had an affair? He wouldn't believe me over faaaamilyyy," he whimpered, dragging the word family out. In all of sixteen years that Andrew had known Sam, he had been blackmailed by him. And he never once told a single soul. He probably wouldn't now, if he wasn't completely wasted. He shouldn't even be completely wasted. He was too careful for that, too responsible. But something in him made him decide that tonight was a good night to take up drinking. And if the following day, he remembered this conversation, he would be swearing Davey to secrecy.
