Not in Toronto very long and Audrey was already finding herself around pretty well. She liked to dance, and she liked to party. Not to the point of self-destruction, but she did like the rush of music, of bodies throbbing to the same beat around her. It was thrilling and the perfect level of adrenaline. She wasn't drinking tonight, although she'd been known to have a couple drinks now and again. Never to the point of stumbling home drunk or anything. Nothing about her behaviour was really dangerous at all. She showed up with a couple of friends, but somehow lost them in the mix of dancers. The lights flashed over the dancers, revealing various colourful glows coming from the ravers. She'd taken to dancing with a particular girl for nearly 10 minutes now, she felt her hands on her leather clad hips. Leather was always good for dancing, honestly. It became a sort of trademark when she went to clubs or raves. A long sleeved neon blue fishnet shirt squeezed the top half of her frame, and a similarly coloured tank top was beneath that, not about to be that provocative. Her wrists were covered in a rainbow of colours, all glowing-- All announcing their presence vividly. She danced with the girl, relishing in the way her dark hair felt against her shoulders when she moved. She left it down, aside from a colorful clip that held her bangs back and out of her face.
When that song changed into another, she politely excused herself and made her way to the bar. Her legs were starting to feel tired and the heat in the room, while fun at first was starting to get a bit suffocating. To the bar, she managed to find herself a bottle of water before heading to the exit. She just needed to breathe, so she slipped outside into the winter chill. Her body habitually shivered, but it felt good. As she leaned against the outside wall, she took a long, deep drink of the water and sighed. It was a good night, albeit a little too active.

Jack was getting antsy. The problem with torture and murder, was that it got too additcing. And for the sixteen year old serial killer, that was not a problem in his opinion.
He looked around in the club. Jack was picky about his victims. He didn't like them to be extremely popular, or come from a family with money. He liked his girls to be loners, or at the very least, unknown. And as he looked around tonight, most of the girls he saw were not options in his book.
Willow Santos. As much as Jack would have loved to cut her up and burn the pieces of her body in a bonfire, she was the most popular girl in school. While most people would think that her selfish attitude and her bitchy personality made for the perfect victim, because alot of people hated her, Jack knew better. Everyone hated her, but everyone loved her at the same time. Willow had most of the school eating out of the palms of her hands, and that made her untouchable. Because the second she went missing, everyone would notice, and the news would spread like wildfire before he got the opportunity to do away with her remains. Especially because she was a cheerleader.
As he continued to look around, he spotted Yasmine Isaacs. Unfortunately, her mom was a renowned actress, and had money. And anyways, he already had gone after her sister Riley. He had a rule to avoid keeping it in the family.
Over by the door was Jenna DiMarco. As much as she would have made a perfect victim, there was one aspect that made him forget it--her brother. JJ Yorke was the most known--and most feared--guy in Degrassi. Which meant Jack had to leave his sister alone.
Then he looked over at the bar and spotted a dark-haired girl drinking water. He didn't know her, and by the looks of things, since neither Willow nor JJ were talking to her, it appeared that not a lot of people did. He decided to first test the waters and see if she fit the profile, but he already had a presumption that she would be just right.
As Jack walked over to Audrey, he noticed she wasn't touching alcohol. So, in an effort to be charming and not scare her, he rested his arms on the bar "I'll take a water" he told the bartender as he glanced at Audrey "hi"

Audrey was pulled out of her thoughts by a boy's voice. Lowering the bottle from her lips, she flashed a friendly smile at him. It was no use being rude to a stranger. He looked nice enough, although, hopefully he didn't turn out to be one of those nice guys that put the moves on. It was amusing, albeit semi-annoying when it happened consistently. Noting there was barely anything left in the bottle, she took her last drink of it and set it down. The dancing made her thirsty, no doubt. "Hey, having fun?" It was just a friendly question. Social by nature, Audrey didn't like awkward silences or hunting to find something to say.
If he was going to put himself out there enough to talk to her, then she'd gladly oblige and hold the conversation on her end. Idly picking at the label on her empty bottle, she kept her eyes trained on Jack. Introductions hadn't been bothered to be made yet, but he looked nice enough, at least by her standards. But you never knew really.

Oh, Jack was far from nice. And if Audrey was lucky, she wouldn't have to find out just how evil he was. Sadly for her, her answers to his questions would soon confirm to him that he could do anything to her, and never get caught.
"ehh, it's ok. Loud" he said with a smile, looking at her "you here alone?"

"Usually how clubs are," Audrey commented. She had to admit, however, it was getting a little too loud for her taste. She was the kind of girl that liked things to be loud, hard and fast. But, after a while, simmering down couldn't hurt. By no means did she consider herself naive at all, although she never had to be in a situation to test that out either. There was a certain amount of common sense and smarts she had, she figured, but nothing ever challenged that. She just automatically had faith in herself. At his question, she nodded.
"Yeah, pretty much." As of now, she was. Of course, she was fine with that. She didn't need a group of people to have fun. She was still new in Toronto, so she really didn't know anybody. She was learning, however and figured it wouldn't be long before she started to make friends. Hey, she was conversing tonight, wasn't she? "Are you? Or is someone out there looking for you?" She asked.

Jack shook his head "naw. I'm a lone wolf. But it's cool" he looked at her "you hungry? All this dancing has got me starving. I could use some company" he wasn't saying this in a suggestive tone at all. He was simply being matter-of-factly. He didn't want to creep her out by thinking he was hitting on her. That wasn't his intentions at all.

Food did sound good. Getting hungry was impossible to avoid dancing like that. She'd had more than enough of high paced fun tonight. To slow down and grab something to sustain her sounded pretty good, so she nodded. "Sure, wolf boy. Got somewhere in mind?" The bottle was left on the counter as she hopped from her stood and to the ground, her heavy combat boots thudding when they hit. Habitually, she curled a strand of dark hair behind her ear and looked at the stranger. "I'm Audrey, by the way. You got a name?"
Everyone did. By her standards, he seemed nice. He wasn't being overtly flirty, but some guys didn't flirt right away. Hopefully, he'd stray away from any flirting. Guys weren't her cup of tea, in the least. But, she was game to hang out, find food and get to know the dude. She didn't know enough people in Toronto, she could really use a few more.

Jack looked at her and thought about it. He needed a place where he could easily slip a sleeping pill into her food without being noticed. "there's a pretty nice restaurant that won't be closed for another hour. You like Italian food?"

Naive.
Never did Audrey consider herself to be that one little word, but unfortunately she had the state of mind that relayed messages of things simply not being able to happen to her. Bad things happened to morons, more often than not. They did something to shove themselves into a bad situation. She didn't blame them, per se. But, the petite brunette didn't believe that she was going to wind up in the wrong hands somehow. She could take care of herself. Allowing him to decide on the restaurant of choice, her grin lit up at the idea of Italian food. "Totally." There was an eagerness in her; one that came with wanting to eat and getting out of the hot club. She had her fill of sweaty, grinding teenagers for the night. Since that was signal to go, the girl headed across the club and to the exit.
The chilled air hit her hard and she crossed her arms across her abdomen to preserve her body heat. She never minded the cold all that much, but the young teenager hadn't bothered with a coat tonight either and her choice of a shirt didn't exactly make for warmth. She turned slightly to look back at the boy who still hadn't given her his name. "Lead the way, Wolf boy." She said, deciding that was the name she'd have to use until he corrected her with something else to refer to him with.

Jack was enjoying the irony of his nickname. It actually fit him really well, and he revelled in it. As he followed her out, he watched her and took off his jacket "here ya'go, miss" he said in his Australian accent. He was determined to be a perfect gentleman. And then he would strike. Jack loved nights like this. With murder in the air, he took a deep breathe and sighed "beautiful night" he commented before looking at her again "by the way, miss, you can call me Jake" no, that wasn't his real name. But one of his victims had gotten away, and while he had managed to scare her into silence, he wasn't going to take the chance of having another girl escape with his name.

As he took his coat off, the petite teenager gladly accepted it and slipped it over her frame, keeping her arms folded to preserve her body heat. "Thanks," She smiled; he was sweet, no doubt about it. There weren't too many guys like that around, especially not in raves. Usually their mind was only on one thing; sex. And it showed with their smiles and strange fascination with getting too close. Although, she couldn't help but be flirty herself sometimes, just not with the male party. "Jake." Audrey tasted the name and nodded, "Cool." She started to walk, following him to the restaurant he'd lead her to.
"And you can just call me Audrey, no need to be polite." She assured him, although it was kind of cute being so nice. Some girl was probably lucky to have him. "It's nice." She agreed with the night. It seemed like it'd be a good night, and the beauty around them kind of added to it. Hey, if she could make a friend, it'd be great.

Jack blushed; he was quite the actor when he wanted to be. "sorry, mi-Audrey. I guess it's just how I was raised." yeah, right. His parents gradually became two of his victims. Only, he still had them in his freezer. Which was exactly why he never took anyone there. He did this well, and was able to keep from getting caught.
He walked with her the two blocks that it took to get to Angelini's, the restaurant he had told her about. He opened the door for her "after you" he said chivalrously.

A quick nod, and Audrey entered the restaurant, grateful to feel the warm air brush against her skin. The new raise in temperature caused a gentle flush to brush against her cheeks, but she walked in and instantly looked around before turning to him with a grin. There was a certain bounce to her step, one that was constantly there. Her personality was naturally hyper, carefree and more out for fun than most. It took a lot to get her down. As most Italian restaurants did, this one had a pretty nice aroma and she looked at the boy expectantly. "So, do we pick our own seats or what?" She asked, unsure and she didn't notice a sign that told them, although there always was one. She'd blame the lateness and her lack of care to actually look for it. He'd obviously been a patron here before, so she thought he'd know how it worked.
She really didn't know enough about him to have her mind completely made up about whether or not she really liked him. So far, it was good. He was friendly, polite and a lot different than most guys she ran across. She wasn't usually used to the chivalrous act. Most people didn't treat her with it unless they were strangers and the girls that she dated weren't typically the type that acted that way anyway. Her last girlfriend had been great though, and she crossed her mind every day. The only reason it was all cut off was because she moved here-- Well, that and she decided that it was all right to sleep with another girl. Oh well. She shook off the thought and waited for Jack to lead them to a spot.

J.T looked at the hostess, who nodded to him "yeah, come on" he took her hand and led her to a table. To the right was a model of Rome's colleseum "I love this place" he told her as the waitress brough tthem menus. Jack looked at her "Give us both Raspberry Italian Creme Sodas" he looked back at Audrey "Just try it, it's delicious. If you dont like it, I'll get whatever you want" he assured her

Too excited to put a lot of thought into how he took her hand, Audrey let herself be led to the table. She took a seat, and listened to him as he ordered something for the two of them. The young girl gave him a curious look, but soon laughed softly. "All right, wolf. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt there." Despite knowing a name to call him now, she still had a habit of calling him the one she'd given him earlier on when he claimed to be a lone wolf. It just looked fitting. Of course, she wasn't thinking of the negative connotation behind that animal. It never crossed her mind.
"So, you in school?" Audrey was looking for a conversation topic. The best one she could come up with was that. Playing idly with one of the napkins, she folded the corner in on itself and unfolded it only to repeat the process while she looked at him. It wasn't a bad way to wind down after a night of dancing. This seemed like a good night for her.
