Was this a joke? Hannah stared at her phone. She couldn't believe her eyes. How could he do this? A text message break up? Hannah blinked back tears. She felt like an idiot. He had told her to meet him here. So sweet, she thought. So romantic. Nobody had done anything romantic for her. Ever. So she had made up a basket of food. Hot wings, potato salad, an apple pie, and all of it from scratch. It wasn't easy. She had only cooked once in her life, and that was when she and Aiden had been trying to cheer Marco up. And it wasn't to this extent.
So now she was stuck with this stupid basket. And she had been waiting for two hours before he even sent it. He had said he would protect her. That he would never leave her. And she had believed him.
She should have known better. Deep down, she felt that he was angry with her. That he blamed her for Marco's death. She shouldn't have gone to see that movie. If she hadn't, none of this would be happening.
She opened the text again, for the dozenth time. ''I'm leaving. We should end this. Goodbye, Derek'' she read it aloud. God, it was so cold. It wasn't even a nice breakup. He hadn't thought about how she would feel. After 7 months, this is how he ended it.
A twig snapped. Her head jerked up. Suddenly, she didn't feel safe. The fragment of security she had attained from Derek had vanished. Her eyes scanned the area. She had a bad feeling. She thought she saw a shadow, though it could have been a tree. She thought she heard a chuckle, though it could have been the wind. But as she stood up, she felt her ankle grabbed at, and nothing in the world could make her realize that it was nothing more than a loose branch.
The basket was left behind. She didn't care about that. She needed to run. Her vision was blurred, her heart was pounding. She had no idea there was nobody chasing her.
Her imagination was running wild. She was running blind. Suddenly, she lost her footing and fell in the lake. The icy water consumed her. Jolts of pain surged through her. She held onto the nearest log, but couldn't pull herself up. ''help!'' she screamed. What if he was heqe? He could easily kill her. She didn't know how to swim. ''help!'' she called out once more

too fast to live, too young to die EVEN THOUGH MY BODY'S SMALL, EVEN THOUGH MY AGE IS YOUNG I MAKE MY ROUNDS LIKE I'M A WARRIOR OUTFIT:Renesmee's Outfit Renesmee knew that her big brother left. Even if she was no longer staying in that house. She loved him, looked up to him. But no he was gone. And there was nobody here left. Nobody that cared about her. Toby was to into his music to actually notice any of his kids. Or how fucked up all of his kids were. Ellie, she was too fucking drunk to ever notice anything. And she hated her family. Hated them more than anything in this entire world. And she just wanted out. Out and away from this place. From her Hell. But there was no place for her to go. No place for her to feel safe and secure. All Nesse wanted was to be anyone but her. She hated who she was, she hated what she had become. And there just seemed to be nothing that she could do about it. About any of it.
Right now, Nesse wanted to be anywhere but at her father's house. Well, actually, she didn't want to be near her mother either. So, she just wondered around. And she somehow ended up at the park. It seemed empty, quiet, peaceful. She liked that. But there was a faint noise off in the distance. A noise that sounded like a cry, no. Not a cry. A plea. A plea for help. Somebody was screaming for help. Someone was in trouble. So, she ran in the direction of the cry. Only to wind up at the lake. And there she was. In the lake. Was she drowning?
On impulse, without taking off any of her clothes or her shoes, Nesse jumped into the lake. And she swam very fast over to the girl. Actually, Nesse was an excellent swimmer. She use to be on the swim team at her school. But it's been a couple years since then. She grabbed onto the girls arm and swam her over to the shore, helping push her back up on the grass. And she pulled herself up. And then she realized who it was. “Hannah? What happened?”

Hannah hadn't taken notice of who it was that had grabbed her until she was out of the water. Coughing, she looked around frantically, her eyes peeled for him. She was being chased, and her mind was set that he was still out here. Her heart pounded, beating against her chest. She may have survived, but she would never really be free from him, would she? God, and now he could be targeting the person who helped her. It was then that she took notice of who it was.
Nesse. God, it would have to be Derek's sister. She just couldn't catch a break today! Never mind. She couldn't take her heartbreak out on the girl. Well, she could, and the old Hannah would have done it in an instant. The old Hannah was a bitch, she wasn't friends with Nesse. Hell, she wasn't friends with anyone, except Marissa. So why had she helped her? Had her imagination not been going wild, she would have asked that. For now, she was sure that she was in danger. And now, they both were. "We're not safe here," she told her, ignoring the question of what had happened. She didn't have time for that. She grabbed her hand. "We have to go. He'll hurt us. He'll t-" she shook her head. "Never mind. Just come on. Trust me, ok?" why should she? Hannah had never given anyone any reason to trust her. She hadn't been nice to anyone. The last time she even spoke to Nesse, she was bullying the girl and trying to pick a fight. But that wasn't her anymore. Though, how did Nesse know that? Hannah knew that the girl could very well hate her, and she wouldn't blame her one bit for it. But hated or not, Hannah couldn't just leave her there for Jack to kill. She wasn't that type of person.

Maybe Renesmee had never been friend with the older teenager. Maybe the two never got along once so ever. But Nesse would never leave some girl drowning, not even her worst enemy. That just was not who she was. That would be completely wrong. No, she had to help. She could not just leave Hannah out there. She watched the girl carefully. She must be freezing. Something was seriously wrong. That much was obvious. “Hannah—“ she began, but then the girl started talking. She sounded so scared. Nobody should have to be scared like she was sounding. Nobody.
Nesse followed the girl when she was lead further and further away from the lake. She looked behind her as she kept on moving. “Hannah, there’s no one here. It’s just us. You can slow down. Talk to me. What happened.” She knew that there was no one trying to get the two. She did not hear any kind of noises, just the leaves crackling below their feet. But something was obviously wrong. More than just her brother leaving.
