How was Erin before? Before the drugs and the alcohol? Before the lying and the sneaking out? The partying and the sex? Erin Jeremiah was a sweet, caring, loving girl. She respected everyone and helped others without expecting anything in return. She was smart and happy-go-lucky. Nothing ever got her down. She was very close to her family too.
So, tell me...what happened? Where'd that girl go? This couldn't be her. She was nothing like that sweet and caring girl she was. Something changed, though....She changed. And within a few months, things became hell for her. She just...no longer cared. She was distant and always sneaking out. She never seemed to be home anymore. And she didn't care that her dad, that her brother, were concerned for her. For her safety. Because...she wasn't staying safe. She was on a path of self destruction. A path that could one day leave her dead.
Something was going on. But she didn't quite understand it herself. Her dad kept trying to talk to her, but she'd just shut him out. She went off on her brother, telling him that it was none of his damn business. That it was her life and she'd do what she wanted to.
Erin just seemed more hateful. She was never like that before. And not even she understood it. When the trouble first began, it just seemed like normal teenage rebellion. But this? This was anything but normal. This was destructive and if she wasn'tcareful, Erin would only end up dead.
Today was no different. She went out partying with a few friends. They weren't even friends. They were only trouble. Her dad forbid her from seeing them, but she ignored it. When she finally headed home, she was pretty drunk. She climbed up the tree outside her bedroom window and snuck in through the window at 3 in the morning. But as she climbed in, Erin knocked over her lamp and fell to the floor.
