"You're such a bitch. A little tease. That's what you are."
Tears stung Megan's chocolate brown eyes. No one understood her pain. No one knew how she really felt inside. It was easy to just pretend that you were happy. That nothing in this world was wrong. But the truth? Well, everything was wrong. Everything. And Megan wouldn't tell a soul. That couldn't b healthy. To keep everything bottled up like that. Could it?
"You deserve to die. No one wants you. Everyone hates you."
Such harsh words. And those words haunted her. Over and over. Forever. It was impossible to forget. Did she want to forget? Most definetely. Megan hated her father with all her heart. Was it possible to even hate anyone this much?
"If it's the last thing I do, I'll make you suffer. Make you pay."
Make her pay? Those words scared Megan so much. She was causing damage...damage control...in hopes that her parents would send her away. Maybe then everyone would be safe. But things would only get worse for her. Wouldn't they? He'd probably still find her...or even them...
"One by one, I will kill your family. And then I will come for you, my little flower."
My Little Flower? He always called her that right before he raped her. Everyone has demons. Well, Michael was Megan's demon. Her tormenter. Her attacker. He was the reason for Megan's constant nightmares. The reason that she was the way she was. No, she didn't want anything to do with her father. And she most definetely did not want to be anything like her father. But was there any chance that she could be like him? Was it even possible? What if it was? What would happen? Would she end up in jail? Would she end up dead? Or worse? What was worse that being dead, anyway?
FLASHBACK Megan was tied to a chair in the living room, gagged, so she couldn't scream. Her father sat on the couch in front of her, staring at his nine-year-old daughter. Her chocolate brown eyes were filled with fear. He liked that, though. It gave him complete control...complete power...over his daughter, his slave. Michael knew what he was going to do. And this moment, this very moment, would most likely scar Megan for life.
Megan's mother walked through the front door. She was beautiful. It was obvius where Megan had gotten her looks from. In fact, Megan looked alot like her mother. Dark brown hair, chocolate brown eyes, her long eyelashes. Megan thought of her mother as her best friend.
But as soon as her mother, Melissa, walked into the living room, her dark brown eyes narrowed on her husband.
"What the hell are you doing?"
Michael just smirked, and got to his feet. "We're just playing a little game." The sound of his voice was so...twisted, full of cruelty and hatered. He grabbed his wife by the arm, pulling his gun from the waistband of his blue jeans. He pointed the gun to the back of her head. "Now, be a good girl, and tell your daughter goodbye."
Megan whimpered beneath the gag, just wanting to cry out, to tell her mother one last time how much she loved her. She struggled, but it was no use.
Megan squeezed her eyes shut. And Michael caught that. "Hey, my little flower, open your eyes. Now! Or I'll punish you too." At that, though, she snapped her eyes open. No, Megan didn't want her daddy punishing her.
Michael pushed Melissa into a glass case. The glass shattered, her mother getting cut up slightly. But then, Michael had pointed the gun at Melissa and pulled the trigger.
END FLASHBACK
Megan sat up in her bed, trembling at the memory. It had been years, and this very memory still haunted her. Now, she would never tell anyone this, but she still would have nightmares of her demon, her mother's murder. She just didn't wake up screaming anymore.
Feeling the anger building up inside her, she got to her feet, knocking her laptop off her desk. Okay, maybe that wasn't the best thing to do. But she was just upset, angry, and needed to release it all. Looking at the clock, Megan sighed. 3:30. Well, there was no chance of even falling asleep tonight. Megan had been trying to since eleven o'clock. And here it was, 3:30, and she was still awake. So, Megan put on a pair of her blue jeans, a baby blue cashmere sweater, put on her sneakers, and grabbed her jacket. Maybe getting a bit of fresh air may help.
Megan walked downstairs, not even knowing that anyone was awake, and headed to the door, ready to leave for a bit.

Ben was wide awake. He grumbled as he stood at the living room window, just staring at the U-Haul next door. He shook his head and punched the window, cracking it. Surprised at the force of his blow, hw stared at the glass, and then heard footsteps coming down the stairs.
He turned to see Megan. He sighed and looked at his daughter "what are you doing up?"

Megan heard the bang against the glass and jumped. She turned to her dad. With it being so late, she hadn't expected him to be up. "Um--" She really didn't wanna mention how much trouble she was having sleeping. Megan just shrugged. "I--I just couldn't sleep, I guess."

Megan bit her bottom lip. She wished so much how she could tell her daddy the truth. But she couldn't. Not yet. "I--I hoped that--you know--getting some fresh air may help. I got--I had gotten so frustrated up in my room, not being able to sleep."

Megan smiled. "Okay. It beats sitting around here restless. Right?" She didn't might taking a walk with her dad. It was just so frustrating not being able to sleep.

Ben opened the door and looked at the U-Haul again and sighed. Then he spotted his mother's Lambourgini and smirked "go grab a carton of eggs"

Megan didn't ask any questions. She went into the kitchen, and opened the fridge, crabbing the carton of eggs. She walked back into the living room. "Got them." She replied, quietly. No need to wake any of the others up.

Ben nodded and closed the door quietly behind them. He walked out into the street "open it"

Megan smirked, following her dad. She opened the carton and grabbed an egg from it.

Ben actually felt better after throwing the egg. He felt like he was 16 again, and causing trouble just like he used to. Of course, back then if he got in trouble, his mother was a force to be reckoned with but now he was an adult so he shouldn't have to answer to her, right?
Unbeknownst to him, Vivian was having trouble sleeping. She never liked to admit it, but since her husband died, her sleep cycle has been messed up. It was part of the depression she was going through. She was enjoying a nice hot cup of tea in the kitchen when she heard the eggs hit the car. Looking out the window, she was appalled at the sight. Ben had always been a rebel, but she would have thought he'd grown out of it by now. She decided to teach him a lesson and picked up her phone and called the cops. Within moments, cop cars and flashing lights pulled up and Megan and Ben were caught.

Megan grinned. This was helping her a bit also. She tossed another at the car, just as the cops had shown up. Dropping the carton of eggs, but turned around suddenly. But then quickly hid behind her dad like a little kid. "We're gonna get arrested, aren't we, daddy?" she whispered.
