Massy was a 13 year old girl. Who never went to middle school. No, instead, she was sent straight to high school. Yes, 13-year-old Massy was a sophmore. It was a bit awkward considering the fact the she was a 4'11" who only weighed 100 lbs. Maybe if her stupid mother wasn't some pathetic stoner while pregnant, maybe Massy would have been a bit taller, weighed a bit more. Well, I guess all that mattered was that the girl was a live.
Being told about going to a new foster home was nothing new for Massy Block. She'd been going through this since the young age of only 2 weeks old. It was how she lived her life. So, she wasn't expecting this home to be any different than the other.
With the few things that Massy did own (a small suitcase with a few clothes in it and a teddy bear in hand) she sat down on the bench in the lobby. Waiting to meet the next people in line for a foster child.

JT had been in the middle of filming an episode when he got the call. JT was thrilled that he finally recieved his first foster child. He wanted to make a lasting impression on this new girl. So, without changing or even taking his head, he drove to the center and walked in. "I'm JT Yorke." he told the lady in charge. "I was asked to pick up Massie Block?" He was sure that the 13 year old would never expect to see an oversized canary picking her up. But that was the point.

Massie hugged her teddy bear close to her chest. She was scared to go into a new home. She was everytime. But really, it's all she's ever known. She didn't know why no one ever adopted her. But it was nothing different for this young child. When Massie had heard her name, she looked up quickly, seeing a guy in a big bird costume. It had been a while, but Massie used to love watching Big Bird when she was younger. She smiled, sweetly. "You're big bird." she giggled softly. "I'm Massie."

J.T smiled inside his costume "yeah. Kind of a dorky job, I know. But it's fun and it pays the bills. Shall we?"

"I don't think it's dorky." Massie replied, shyly. "I think it's cool." She nodded. "Yeah. Let's go."

J.T led her to his van "my costume is too big to drive a very small car" he explained, waving goodbye to the social worker

Massie smiled, sweetly, and followed JT out to his car. "Could we go get something to eat?" she asked, softly.

Massie grinned. "I love pasta. I used to watch Seaseme Street all the time. But now I'm mostly involved in my school work. I'm the youngest sophomore in my class." she added proudly.

"Pasta it is then!" he exclaimed as he headed for a restaurant. He knew he was going to get along with her just fine.
