It had been a week since the kiss between Aidan and Marissa. And all week, she'd been giggly and sweet. Nothing like her old self. Well, they say that having a crush on a boy could do strang things to a girl. Marissa walked outside after lunch, for recess, and ran over to the swings.

It was recess and Aidan was already out on the swings. He was trying to get himself higher and higher. When he saw Marissa, he looked at her and tried to wave while still clutching to the chain with his other hand. Usually she wasn't nice, but he still waved to her and said things whenever she was around. Especially now, after that kiss.

Marissa smiled when she saw Aidan. Had anyone else noticed a change in her? She hadn't gotten introuble once this week. Which was so not like her. "Hi." Marissa replied, with a giggle. She'd never giggled before. But now...she felt different. She sat down on the swing beside Aidan.

Aidan noticed the change! She never giggled around him in the past, so he was surprised at how she acted now. "Do you want to swing with me?" He questioned. He was all alone and he wanted to play, but he liked swinging with someone more than swinging alone.

"Huh-uh." Megan replied with a grin. And she started to swing. "I just love to swing. Don't you?" She asked, as she tried to swing as high as Aidan was before.

"Yeah, I do." Aidan replied as he got himself to swing higher and higher. "Can you jump?" He asked curiously as he swung. He liked jumping off the swings, even if sometimes he ended up falling. It was a lot of fun to him.

Marissa grinned. "I love jumping!" she exclaimed, excitedly. So, swinging her legs back and fourth, she went as high as she could possibly go. Before finally jumping and landing on her feet. She turned to Aidan. "Now you!"

Aidan watched her jump and a huge grin spread across his face. He nodded and got ready to jump. "Okay!" He called to her and then leapt off the swing. He landed on his feet, though nearly stumbled. He caught himself and then ran and tagged her. "You're it!" He chimed, starting a new game.

Marissa grinned as Aidan jumped off the swing. But when he tagged her, she just giggled. "Nuh-uh." So she started to chase him, and reached out ready to tag him.

As Aidan sped up to try to get away from her, he got his foot caught against the ground and tripped. He had always been clumsy like that. He didn't even need to trip over anything specific to fall. As he did, he didn't cry out or even react to the pain, because it didn't hurt really. He just started to laugh at himself. When you were clumsy like that, you got used to it and he thought it was pretty funny. "Time out!" He giggled, since he was on the ground.

Marissa giggled since Aidan was. She knelt down beside him, and tagged him. "Nuh-uh. No time outs." But she only giggled again, and sat down next to him.

"But I fell!" Aidan said with a lame excuse for a pout. It was hard to pout when he was still laughing. "See, I hurt my hand." He told her and lifted the palm to show her. It had a few indentations from the fall, but wasn't injured.

"Awww, it's okay." Marissa took his hand and kissed where he had been hurt. Well, that was what her mom would do whenever she had hurt herself.

Aidan grinned as she kissed his hand. It was cute! "Thanks, it feels better now." He said. And strangely it felt like it did, but it was probably one of those psychological things.

Marissa grinned. "That's good. Just call me nurse Marissa." She replied, in a sweet voice. It wasn't like Marissa at all to be sooo sweet.
